– Which is more important,’ asked Big Panda, ‘the journey or the destination?
– The company,’ said Tiny Dragon.
Mental health counseling provides an opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of yourself, your relationships, and other areas of your life that are currently most pressing, while focusing on the here and now and reflecting on each other. I believe that most internal stress can be related to how we function in our relationships and environment.
The connection we build between us can help you gain better insight into aspects that, when changed, might improve your well-being. There is no universal secret recipe for this, as everyone takes a completely unique path. What I can provide is an atmosphere where we can freely and non-judgmentally discuss what concerns you the most.
The first session is mostly about getting to know each other and experiencing what it’s like to spend time together in each other’s company. During this 50 minutes, emphasis is placed on your unique situation and the topics that are currently at the forefront of your life. There’s no strictly defined structure for the first conversation, just like the subsequent sessions, it is tailored to your current needs.
Each session is 50 minutes long and can be used freely for what you need and what is important to you. Both online and in-person meetings are possible, with both options priced at 14,000 HUF per session. You can cancel the appointment up to 24 hours in advance, but if you cancel later, 50% of the fee will be charged. You can book online sessions through the scheduling menu, but for in-person sessions, we can coordinate via email to schedule a time. If you are interested in Open Dialogue sessions, we can also discuss the details via email.
During the online consultation, we can have our conversation from the comfort of your home, making it an ideal solution if you live in rural areas or abroad. You will need a stable internet connection, a webcam, and a Skype account for our appointment.
Unfortunately, currently you cannot book an appointment on the website. Please email me at beszelgetes@mayerjudit.hu for the available time slots.
If you prefer to have a conversation with me in person, I can meet you at the following places:
