General Terms and Conditions

These general terms and conditions – hereinafter referred to as “GTC” – regulate the conditions for using the personal services (counseling sessions) provided by Mayer Judit as an individual entrepreneur – hereinafter referred to as the “Service Provider” – through the mayerjudit.hu website – hereinafter referred to as the “Services”.

2. Description of Services
The Service Provider offers personal and online counseling sessions to the Client, conducted in accordance with the ethical principles recommended by the Code of Ethics for Psychologists. The purpose of the Service is to improve the Client’s mental health, enhance their life management skills, and does not constitute medical services or psychotherapy.

3. Subject of the Contract
Under this contract, the Client engages the Service Provider to conduct personal and online counseling sessions. The exclusive provider of the Service is Mayer Judit, a psychologist and mental health professional operating as an individual entrepreneur.

4. Formation of the Contract
This contract is concluded between the Service Provider and the Client – hereinafter together referred to as the “Contracting Parties” – by contacting the Service Provider via the email address found in the ‘Contact’ section of the mayerjudit.hu website or by scheduling an appointment through the ‘Book Appointment’ section. By accepting this contract, the Client declares that they have full legal capacity and are capable of entering into a contract.

5. Confirmation of Application
The Service Provider will review the received requests and confirm their receipt. The Service Provider reserves the right to reject requests with or without reason. Accepted requests will be confirmed via email.

6. Communication Between Parties (Psychologist and Client)
Upon successful contact, the exact location and time of the consultation will be specified via email. Subsequent consultations will proceed at the agreed time, duration, and frequency established during the first appointment.

7. Duration of Consultation Process
Following the first session, the psychologist and the Client will agree on the expected duration of the consultation process, which can be modified later as needed.

8. Location and Time of Consultation
During the consultations, the Client collaborates with the psychologist at the specified location, and the timing of consultations is agreed upon either on-site or via email.

9. Cancellation Conditions
The Client must notify the psychologist of session cancellations at least 24 hours before the scheduled time. Missed sessions can be rescheduled based on availability and mutual agreement with the psychologist. Cancellations within 24 hours require the Client to pay 50% of the consultation fee (7000 HUF).

10. Participation Fee
The Service Provider is entitled to the fee listed on the website for providing the Service. The fee covers the total consideration for the contracted service. Online services are paid in advance via bank transfer, and personal services can be paid in advance via bank transfer or in cash at the venue.

11. Liability for Damages
The Service Provider excludes liability for damages arising in connection with the performance of the contract to the fullest extent permitted by applicable laws and regulations.

12. Copyright
The Contracting Parties declare that the https://mayerjudit.hu website, its elements, and all copyrighted materials published or sold through it are owned by the Service Provider. In case of infringement of the Service Provider’s copyrights, the Client may be subject to a penalty of 20,000 HUF.

13. Integration Clause
This contract constitutes the entire agreement between the Contracting Parties regarding the subject matter herein and supersedes any prior oral or written agreements.

14. Validity of Contract
The contract is concluded for an indefinite period.

15. Governing Law and Final Provisions
Any matters not regulated in these general terms and conditions shall be governed by the applicable Hungarian Civil Code, Government Decree 17/1999 (II.5.) on distance contracts, and Act CVIII of 2001 on certain issues of electronic commerce services and information society services. The Contracting Parties declare that the country of contract fulfillment is Hungary.
